Announcing the first speakers

Happy Monday! We’re thrilled to be able to announce the first set of speakers for WordCamp London this morning. Things are really looking rather splendid, even if we do say so ourselves…

Over the coming days we’ll announce more excellent speakers, but here’s but a mere taste of our fabulous lineup to whet your appetite.

There’ll be something for everyone at this inaugural WordCamp London, from the novice blogger, the intermediate themer, to the expert developer.

Without further ado:

  • Austin Smith: Big Media Strategies for WordPress
  • Graham Armfield: So how do I know if my WordPress website is accessible?
  • Ilona Filipi: 3.5 years of running a WordPress web agency – Dos, Don’ts, and Lessons Learned
  • Jessica Jones: From Blog to Book
  • Luke Oatham: GovIntranet WordPress Theme
  • Mario Peshev: Debugging WordPress
  • Mark Jaquith: Lessons from WordPress 3.6
  • Tammie Lister: BuddyPress myth-busting

We’ll post more information about the above speakers and their sessions in the next few days, in the meantime, if you’ve not bought your ticket yet, head over here to secure your place at what promises to be a great WordCamp!

  1. Hi! will the speakers be sequential in one room or concurrent in different rooms? Also, do you have more detail about the subject matter for each session?
    Thanks Jules
